Dear Colleagues,
Dear Friends,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to Budapest, capital of Hungary, from April 2nd to 5th, 2025, for the International Teaching Course of the European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics/World Organisation of Neurosonology.
Neurosonology is a rapidly developing field of imaging, which plays a pivotal role in unraveling extra- and intracranial vascular pathology and provides a non-invasive and real-time examination of cerebral circulation. In addition to traditional vascular ultrasound, the continuous technical improvements in the last decades led to appearance of new fields of ultrasound application, including microembolus detection, neuroorbital examination, brain parenchyma imaging, point of care ultrasound and muscle and nerve sonography. While these examinations require highly skilled specialists, access to education and certification in neurosonology for neurology residents and neurologists is challenging around the world.
The International Teaching Course provides a unique platform for learning new neurosonology methods and deepening your practical knowledge in the field of neurosonology. We encourage you to take this opportunity to attend lectures focusing on practical elements and gain practice in hands-on courses led by renowned experts with real patients. During the conference, you will have the opportunity to take theortical and practical exams and to obtain the prestigious International Certification in Neurosonology.
The teaching course comprehensively covers the most important topics of neurosonology, and we are happy to invite you to participate on the entire course, but depending on your theoretical and practical knowledge, you can also participate only in the basic or only in the advanced training.
Beyond deepening your theoretical and practical knowledges in neurosonology, Budapest offers visitors a lot of fascinating sights at any time of the year. The capital city of Hungary is often called the “Pearl of the Danube”, which is a stunningly beautiful place and considered by UNESCO as “one of the world’s outstanding urban landscapes”. Almost all major sights and attractions will be easily accessible from the meeting location.
We hope that you will gain a lot of practical knowledge and take it home and share it with your colleagues for the benefit of your patients.
Looking forward to meeting you in the International Teaching Course in Budapest,
László Olah & László Csiba
